Remove the Pesky Word You Accidentally Added

• Note this only works on Chromium-based browsers (Google Chrome, Edge, Opera, e.t.c)

Chromium has a powerful spellcheck feature built into it. It saves time by allowing you to focus on the document that you’re writing, and not worrying about perfecting your spelling. Chromium even gives the option to add custom words to the internal dictionary, but what are your options if you add a word you didn’t mean to?

Removing a Word From The Chromium Dictionary

In the address bar, put the following URL. This will allow you to quickly access a settings page not easily findable via GUI.

chrome://settings/editDictionary

After removing unnecessary words, simply close the tab!
